ESSAY WRITING

To be able to write a good essay in English is crucial for their future careers as ELT teachers in Indonesia. Therefore, this essay writing course is aimed at providing the students with knowledge in academic writing covering some text type and writing process. Expository essay will be the focus in this course as well as summarizing and paraphrasing. Throughout the course, time will be made available for practices, group discussion, peer review, writing conference, language analysis, and evaluation.
